I hate this. you spend a long time writing out your question so that it makes sense, make sure you don't sound like an idiot, include all pertinant info and click submit and POOF there it goes... into wherever it goes. nobody ever sees it again. i'm, not gonna take the time and make the effoprt again because its a waste of time. I just want the manual and i cannot find it. I can find every other manual in the world but not mine. and i'm sure i could go thru all 400 pages of hits on my model number ( like THAT makes any sense!!!!) and i doubt that i would find it. but i have a gas powered mower model 917-372342 and i need the parts breakdown and some disassembly instructions (from the manual). i don't want the manual for model 372340 because its close. no i want the right manual. please help if you can.

Q:

I have a craftsman mower #917.372342. & Im looking for a owners manual for this mower. I want to know how to put back the carborator & niddle value. Please help

A:

Having the owners manual is so important to have. It helps with the use and care of the mower and will overall help you extend the life of it. I found an owners manual similar to your model it ends with a 40 instead of a 42. It should be very similar. I am adding a link below for you. The second link is for a question like yours. I do hope this will help you out until you expert answers your question. It may take 24-48 hours.

Hi Danny,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I assume you have seen all you needed but just in case here is a video that shows how to rebuild a carburetor; Video .

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired by a Sears technician. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations: Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram or purchase any parts needed for your lawn mower; Sears Parts Direct . The part number for your Owners manual is 750031.

I hope this is helpful, and if I may be of further assistance please include more details in a reply to this post.
