Q:

Where can I find a manual for my Craftsman Tiller?

A:

I know how important it is to have the owners manual for most appliances so that you can troubleshoot properly. While you are waiting for your expert answer, I did manage to find a link in where you can enter your appliance model number and the owners manual will pop up. Please keep in mind that if your appliance is over ten years old than the owners manual may no longer be available. I hope my link is useful.

Due to the age of the tiller, the owner's manual is no longer available for downloading online or for purchase, per the manufacturer. If you have any other questions regarding the tiller, please repost to this thread with more information. We will be delighted to assist you.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We get the manual on our site directly from the manufacturer. If they no longer have them available, then we will not have access to them.

I'd suggest you get the manual and scan it into your data base. It can't be that hard. That tiller is still in circulation and being sold as a used tiller all over the country. It does no one any good if "Craftsman/Sears" does not have it regardless of how old it is. If the doctor said, I'm sorry we don't have medicine for grandpa, he's too old, you'd come unglued! People need the manual to fix and repair old stuff. That's what we do. Every body can't just go out and Drop cash for a New one. So get the manual and get it on line. It's really pretty simple when you think about it. It just depends on your priorities. Do you actually care about the "old" products?

If there is not a grease zerk on the transmission it is not grease-able without taking the transmission apart. The manufacturer made many models this way as they never need grease once they are sealed up unless they are opened up for some reason. If you do see a grease zerk on the transmission you can put in about half a tube of grease and that should suffice.

Thank you for using Manage My Life!
