Thank you for your question.

I have looked up the model number you have submitted. This model has counter rotating tines. This means instead of turning the same direction as the wheels the tines turn in the other direction. If the tines have been installed backwards it would look like the tines are going the wrong way. If you need a copy of the manual click here .

I hope this is helpful. If you need further assistance, please feel free to reply below with more details.

The stop wire should connect to the magneto and the stop switch. The other connection is for a low oil cut off switch that is used on some horizontal shaft engines. Your engine does not have a low oil cut off switch.

When you turn the stop switch to stop, it closes a circuit between the wire going to the magneto and ground. This kills the spark from the magneto.

Thank you for your question.

I have looked up the model number you have submitted. According to the parts list the transaxle should be filled with grease called plastilube. If the transmission has plugs no oil should come out if they where removed. If you have the transmission apart you can pack the case halves and gears with the grease. It should take roughly two tubes. The part number for the plastilube is 6066j and can be ordered from our parts website: Sears Parts Direct .

Please let me know if you need further assistance on the tiller.
