The diagram showing the routing of the belts did not sow up. I don't need to order parts, just a diagram of how the belts are routed. Thanks, Roy

Thank you for contacting Sears Parts Direct with your question about replacing the drive on your Craftsman Tiller. I am so sorry to hear it split. Especially now when it is planting time. Replaceing the transmission is more time consuming then it is difficult. You will need an ordinary set of mechanic tools to remove the attachment bolts. The transmission has a lot attached to it. It is the central focus of the tiller. There are no special instructions other than you will need to remove everything attached to the transmission.

You will have to remove the wheels, tines, the shroud housings, the shifter linkage as well as the handle assembly. I have included the parts diagrams for your tiller. It will be a good guide as to where the bolts are located as you take this apart. I recommend labelling the parts as you take them off or taking photos as a reference to aid you when you go to put this back together. I have also included the link to order the transmission in case you haven't done that yet.

The new transmission comes pre-filled with grease and is ready to install. Just make sure that you keep the left and right tines and wheels in their correct order. While you are replacing the transmission, it is a good time to also tune up the engine. I have included the link to order the tune up kit for you.

If there anything else I can assist you with, please respond to this thread and we will be more than happy to help you any way we can.Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.
