Snow Thrower Attachment Compatibility 486.248381

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

The only model we can say with certainty that will work is 486.248371, which is what's recommended for this tractor.

However, after pulling them both up and looking at the mounting brackets, they appear to be the same, so there is a strong likelihood that it will work.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

what part charges the battery? model # 917275223 917275223 Craftsman Lawn tractor

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect. I will be more than happy to assist you with your Craftsman tractor.

From the information you have provided above, I can understand the frustration of having your tractor malfunction, after researching model number 917.275223. it seems to be like there’s a possibility of the alternator going bad. Thi8s is what allows the battery to re charge. I would suggest replacing the alternator to resolve your problem. The part number is 54-755-09-S. it’s available on our website at SearsPartsDirect.com which I have linked below.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business, have a great day.
