here is all the information i could find blade length, part number and blade torque 134149 Blade, 42" Mulching Std 117 174873 (For mulching mowers only) 118 73930600 -- 139775 Blade, 42" Mulching Premium 119 STD551037 (For better wear when mulching 129 19131312 -- 138971 Blade, 42" Hi-Lift 130 STD523710 (For bagging or discharging) 131 STD533710 13 137645 Shaft Assembly, Mandrel, \!ented Blade Bolt Torque:27-35 Ft. Lbs. this is what i found on your manual it sounds like both blades do the same function if the bolts are showing wear or damaged i would suggest you replace them if no damage is on them then it probly isnt nessesary but you want to make sure they are torqued 27-35 ft pounds to prevent them from coming loose and damaging your mower and for your own safety hope this helps resolve your problem good luck

Thank you for your question.

I have looked up the model number you have submitted. This tractor only has one blade per side. To install the blade remove the center bolt with a gloved hand and a wrench. When installing the blade find the side that goes towards the grass. It should be marked on the blade. Once you have the correct side up fit the blade onto the star pattern and secure with the bolt. There are a few different blades for the tractor. The blade that came with the tractor is a mulching blade. The part number for this blade is 134149. You can mulch, bag, and discharge with this blade. The second blade is a standard blade. The part number for that blade is 138971. You can bag and discharge with this blade. I have included a picture of both blades below. If you need to order the blades you can do so from our parts website: Sears Parts Direct .

Please let me know if you need further assistance, on the repair of the tractor.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

lawn tractor stopped moving

A:

This sounds like a problem in the transaxle. Check the shift arm and linkage. If they are ok, a technician will be needed to check the transaxle. I'm listing a site you can check to have a technician come out. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
