I am sorry to hear of the issue you’re having with the tractor. I know how frustrating that is.

Several things could cause the problem you are having with the tractor. It definitely sounds to be safety switch related because when you disengage the blades the engine resumes. There might be an issue with the seat switch losing contact when your weight is being shifted. You might have a wire being pinched and making contact to ground when the tractor frame is put into certain binds. I would check all three safety switches, the brake/clutch switch, blade engagement switch, and the seat switch. Clean all the contacts and ensure they have secure connections. Sometimes a zip tie is needed on the connections to keep them secure. Check the surrounding wires and make sure nothing is being pinched or has an open tear in the wire cover.
