Question and Answers

How do you adjust groove pin for the deck lift on my tractor?

More than likely the slots the pin sits in on the side of the dash is the problem. The "teeth" can become worn out over time and this will allow the groove pin to jump out. If the "teeth" or grooves where the pin is to sit looks worn out you would need to replace that side dash assembly. If the groove pin is just not going into the grooves all the way (happens now and again) you can take a punch and hammer to fix that. Just put the punch in the groove and tap it with the hammer until it's opened up enough to allow the pin to sit in the groove fully. You may have to do that on each groove to get them all lined up correctly.
