Daniel, I looked up the model numbers you submitted. I am sorry I do not think the bagger will fit your tractor. The bagger should mount the same but the lower chute is different. I do not know if a new chute will be long enough to attach to the old upper chute. I would hate to see you order the lower chute for the correct bagger only to find it will not fit. Often times the parts are non returnable. Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark T.

Q:

Where to purchase the upper grass tube 917271821 Craftsman Lawn tractor

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

In order to see bagger specific parts, you need to enter the bagger model number. The model specific bagger I see is model 917.248910. Based upon that model, the part number for the upper chute is 532126840. The model for the bagger is under the cover if you want to verify.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

Removal of wheel flange bearing on Craftsman Lawn Tractor, Model #917.271821, Part # 9040H. What is necessary to remove the worn bearing from the front rim and 917.271821

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

The wheel on your tractor should have two flange bearings, one on the outside and the other inside that are the same. The image does not show two bearings. You should just have to replace the bearing to get rid of the wobble. To replace the bearings follow the steps below:

Lift the wheel off the ground and support the tractor.

Remove the dust cap and retaining ring.

Slide the tire off the axle paying close attention to the placement of the washers.

Use a drift punch and hammer to knock the bearings out of the rim.

Use a hammer and a block of wood to knock the new bearings into the rim. The wood will protect the new bearing from damage.

Reinstall the wheel, retaining ring, and dust cap.

Last step is to use a grease gun to lubricate the new bearings. The wheel bearings are part number 9040H.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
