I am sorry to hear that the tractor battery is not holding a charge. I know how frustrating that is to have happen.

I would suspect the battery is not holding a charge because the battery is not being charged during use. That would be the most logical explanation on why the new batteries are working. 

Under the flywheel, there is an alternator that charges the battery. You will need to remove the flywheel in order to remove and replace the alternator. You may need a flywheel puller in order to remove the flywheel. If the alternator has gone out, it will not recharge the battery during use, and it will drain the battery.

If you need the replacement alternator, the part number is 696459. I have linked it below on Sears Parts for convenience.

The mandrel assembly, part 130794, will include the complete mandrel already preassembled, the blade bolt, and the pulley nut. It will not include the self-threading mandrel bolts. They will need to be purchased separately.

I need to know to which bearing you are referring. There is flange bearing (key 7) on the Wheels and Tires diagram. I have included the link to order that part in case that is what you need. If you are referring to one of the bearings in that goes on the front tire spindle assemblies, they are listed on the
Steering Assembly diagram. There is a hardened, race thrust bearing (key 5) and the steering column bearing (key 9). I have included those links for you also.
