Thank You for Submitting your question to ManageMyLife.com

I can understand how frustrating it can be to have your lawn mower stop working. Espcially with the price of gas, no one wants to buy more than what we need. Based on the information you have providing, I would recommend change the fuel solenoid. Sounds like you have already ruled out all other possibilities. I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link below to be taken to the page.

Thank you for your question.

I will be happy to assist you with replacing the muffler on the tractor. I looked up the model number you have submitted. This muffler does not look as involved as most. To replace the muffler you will need to remove the hood. Just disconnect the lights first. Then open the hood so it is at a 45-degree angle. Once in that position lift the hood off. Next, remove the bolts that secure the heat shield under the muffler. This step is if your model has the heat shield. These are the blue arrows in the image below. Just click on the image to enlarge it. Once the heat shield is removed, you can remove the two bolts that secure the muffler. These are the bolts with the red box. After those are removed, wiggle the muffler off the exhaust pipe. Just reverse these steps to install the muffler.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
