Question and Answers

Q:

model number 911.99003991 sel-clean thinks door is locked. it is not. when door closed get clicking sound like latch frozehow to reset part 151 latch assembly?

A:

There is not really a reset routine that you can use to free up the oven door lock mechanism and clear this message. You will likely need to replace the door lock assembly (part WB15T10018). The operation of the door lock assembly is shown in the image below. Unless the door latch assembly is jammed and can be freed up so that it will operate properly, you will need to replace it. The procedure for accessing this component and additional technical information is shown in the image below. Be sure that you unplug the range to disconnect electrical power before accessing internal components. Using the information below, you may be able to fix this problem yourself. If you need more help, resubmit your question with additional details.

If you need parts, you can order them from the Sears PartsDirect website.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Yep - there IS an easy way to do it. If the door is open. and the range thinks its locked, hold the button on the inside of the oven that the door hits, and the light goes off. (Just like the one in the fridge) While you're hoolding that, press the stop/clear button and hold it. The door lock wioll pop open. If the door is closed, and locked, press the stop/clear button and hold it. The door will unlock. This is the third time this has happened to me, today was the first time in almost 2 years. A tech person told me about holding the stoop/clear button the first time it happened. This time. I remembered how to do it about 3 minutes after I posted the question. thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

Q:

Where can I get the schematics for a part WB27T10220R control board?

A:

There are two types of boards that can be rebuilt into the WB27T10220R.

The first is the original WB27T10137 board manufactured by Invensys, and the other is the WB27T10220 manufactured by Torisan.

Currently, every WB27T10220R supplied by CGI is a refurbished WB27T10137 core board.

Every board remanufactured by CGI will have a barcode as shown in the image below.

Also, I added an image containing photos of both the WB27T10137 core and the WB27T10220 core. The boards are electrically the same, but the terminals are in a different location. The WB27T10220 board has the BAKE, BROIL, CONV, and the L1A terminals located directly on the relays, and the WB27T10137 board has the terminals located on the printed circuit board. I also added the bar code and the wiring diagram of the range in a image.

You should have no trouble wiring up the WB27T10137 control board with the information given.
