I provided technical information about this range in the first image below. In some situations, the F1 can be caused by high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. The F1 can be displayed when the control detects an oven temperature that is high and out of the normal range. I recommend that you unplug the range and check the resistance through the oven temperature sensor circuit as described in the first image below. You should measure near 1100 ohms of resistance through that circuit. If the resistance of that circuit is okay, then the electronic control board is probably still bad. I am showing that the replacement control boards for this range are "rebuilt" control boards. The original control board is no longer manufactured. The replacement control boards are circuit boards that have been repaired. There is a chance that the replacement control board that you used is still bad.

If the resistance of the sensor circuit is high, then I recommend that you check the resistance of the sensor probe directly at that component. The second image shows how to access the temperature sensor probe. If the resistance at the probe is okay, then you likely have a wiring failure or a problem with the disconnect plug on the sensor.

If the resistance of the sensor is high when measured directly at that component, then the sensor probe (part WB23T10002) will need to be replaced. You can order that part from the Sears PartsDirect website.

I hope that this information helps. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details and we will try to assist you further.

Q:

Why is my Kenmore radiant range displaying an F0 error code?

A:

Core Issue: Why is my Kenmore radiant range displaying an F0 error code?

The failure code F0 indicates a stuck key pad or transistor failure. May mean relay is turned on.

  1. Unplug unit for 1 minute.
  2. Reapply power.
  3. If error code reappears, the control will need to be replaced.
