Q:

Oven Door hinge replacement 91195298992 Kenmore Range

A:

Thank you for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

In order to replace the oven door hinges, the door will need to be removed so the door hinge and the hinge receiver are separated. Once the door has been removed, you will need to remove the screws identified as 1005 in the third image I've sent to remove the door hinge.

I have supplied you three attachments, two are for the door removal and the other is the exploded view of the door showing the screws that will need to be taken out so you can remove and replace the hinges. Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The rocker switch has two tabs that must be squeezed inwards and then the switch can be pushed out through the front of the console. The indicator light fits over a lip on the indicator light lens. Both the rocker switch and the indicator light must be accessed from the rear of the control panel. Once the indicator light has be slid off of the lens, the lens can be pulled out from the front of the control panel.

The cover behind the control panel can be removed to access the rocker switch and indicator lights.

The control panel contains the ERC infinite heat switches and oven light switch.

To remove the control panel:

  1. Remove 2 screws (from bottom) securing control panel to the backguard.
  2. Remove 2 screws at the top, in the back of the range.
  3. Pull bottom of panel out while lifting panel up.
  4. Lay panel on cooking surface.

CAUTION: Place protective covering (such as towel) between control panel and cooking surface to avoid damage to control panel.

NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
