I know how important this information is to have. The manual that your looking for is no longer available. That means the manufacture is no longer producing it and we not longer have it. I have looked in all my resources to see if there is a copy available, but was unable to find one.

If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread.

Q:

Why is Kenmore range beeping and flashing F-1?

A:

Core Issue: Why is Kenmore range beeping and flashing F-1 ? The model number is 911.9389181. What is wrong?

Resolution: An F-1 error indicates that an error has been detected by the control. Error F-1 is generated as a result of irregularities in the power supply or usage. Error codes can often be resolved by removing power to the appliance for a minute and then restoring the power. By unplugging the appliance it allows the control to receive a fresh supply of power. This in turn will clear the controls memory of any irregularities it may have received from the power supply. Once refreshed the error should no longer be displayed.

To clear the controls memory follow these steps:

  1. Unplug the unit or turn the circuit breaker off for 60 seconds.
  2. Restore the power to the appliance by plugging it back in or turning the circuit breaker back on. #Check to see if the error code is still displayed on the range.
  3. Test the appliance to make sure the error has been removed. Run the appliance in the cycle that initially caused the error.

If the error code is displayed, then Professional service is needed.

Note_: General information for resolution of problem is based on information that was submitted with question. Please contact a certified technician if problem persist. Sears Repair Department 1-800-469-4663
