Thanks for getting back with me. I looked in the areas on the diagram you provided, but seems I had the wrong model number. Correct model number is 9119382992 and there is a label on the door that shows 120 Volts. But I want to also wanted to know the amps that the range uses.

Thank you for your response with the complete model number. I am glad you were able to locate the information on the volts. Unfortuately the literature we have on this range does not included the amps. An appliance will often have a label with the model and serial number and a separate label with the watts/kilowatts, volts and/or amps. If you are unable to locate another label, please check and see if the label where you found the volts also indicates the watts or kilowatts. If we have both the volts and the watts, then it is simply a mathematical formula to determine the amperage.

The formula is watts divided by volts equals amperes. For example the amperage for a 750 watt light bulb on a circuit breaker panel that supplies 120 volts would be 6.25.    750/120=6.25

Please keep in mind that is for estimate purposes only. Live circuit results may vary because wire connections, age of the product and the applied voltage can all influence the final amperage. If you need a more exact reading, please write me back and I can give you the steps to test the amperage using an electrical meter.

I hope this answers your questions. If I can be of further assistance, please respond to this thread. Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com

Q:

How can I fix a dim display on my range control?

A:

The elecronic oven/clock control will need to be replaced. The console will need to separated from the the backguard. I added an image of the console area so you see where it separates. It looks like the you will need to flip open the canopy. (key # 25), remove the fluorescent lamp and remove the 2 screws at each end. There will be 2 screws along the bottom of the control panel at each end to remove also. It should then pull out to gain access to the oven/clock control assembly.

Part number of the clock/oven control is WB27K5137R.5074

NOTE : Remove or disconnect power to the range before removing the console.

A:

Lyn: This part would have to be removed by a technician and sent in for repair. There is no new control boards available and the old ones must be rebuilt. The price is not given but it will likely cost $200.00 or more.
