Q:

storm no control panel lights 91193812301 Kenmore Electric range

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when there is problems with the range.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Kenmore Electric Range model number 91193812301.

I see that you say some items are working but some parts are not on the oveen.

With the control panel not coming on and all the burners working fine.  I'd take the control panel apart.  There is a control board in the middle and check the connections to the board.   Check the wiring to see if there is any bare, loose, or burnt looking wires that you can take care of first.

Providing that all is well and just the control panel not coming on then it would be a heavy assumption that you need to replace the control board.    I have the control board on the link below.

I got my part number WB27T11312 a control panel for Kenmore range model number 911.3812301. The part is fine fixed my problem but this part did not come with the front stick on thing that tells you what each push button is for (ie oven, clock, up and down arrows etc) Should this part have had that stick on pad with it or do you have to order it too? I tried to take it off my old control panel and it didn't all peel off right and looks bad.

Thank you for your question. I know it's frustrating when the stove stops working. If nothing at all works, this could be a voltage problem to the stove. Check for a tripped breaker. Try resetting the breaker and check the stove again. If it still won't work at all, a voltage check will need to be made at the outlet and at the terminal block on the range, for 240 volts. A technician may need to make this type of check. The top burners work independantly from the control, so there could be more than one problem if the voltage check is ok. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services.
