Q:

New riding lawn mower will not start 91193501990

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your mower is not working.

Since the unit is brand new it is considered under warranty. I recommend calling 18004MYHOME and setting up service because if you try and repair then it voids the warranty.

You can also visit searpartsdirect.com for parts, diagrams, and repair information.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Thank you for your question. Have a great day.

Q:

Damaged bake element 91193501990 Kenmore Free standing range

A:

Thank you for being Sears’ valued member and for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your question about bake element for your Kenmore range model 91193501990. I am so sorry the element broke. I will be happy to help you with this.

I know it can be alarming when the element catches fire and breaks apart. That is not unusual for this type of part when it finally wears out. It normally does not affect the rest of the range.  Do not use the oven part of the range until the part has been replaced. When you change the element, check the wiring connected to it for damage, and replace if necessary. I have included the link to order the element for you.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Based on your symptom and detail it could be related to the door lock assembly. Generally speaking, the electronic oven control/clock would normally display a fault code. I would be surprised if you could program and start a bake cycle or clean cycle with the control beeping. It would beep if the door was not fully shut when placing the range in a clean mode and it should display a fault code. What happens if you try placing the range in clean mode? Will it also operate in the bake or broil cycle. Also, check to see if it displays a fault code and then reply in the post.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
