Having an appliance to last 10 years is very great but once it starts having problem it can be really disappointing. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, a suggestion I have is to set service with a Sears technician so they can fix this problem. I have attached the link below. Here is a brief video that shows the normal procedure for replacing the bake element in this type of range: Video: Range Bake Element Replacement . (Your range will be slightly different than the one shown in that video but the basic procedure is the same.) If the wire on the right side is still intact, then you can probably order the bake element (part WB44T10010) and replace that part yourself. You can order that element from the Sears PartsDirect website. Be sure that you unplug the range before accessing internal components and replacing that element.

If the wire needs to be repaired, then you will probably need to have a service technician repair the range. Here is a link for the Sears Service website: Sears Home Services .
