Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I must assume when cleaning the control panel you caused the clock buzzer to start sounding. Disconnecting the power supply from the range would have to stop the buzzer from sounding if you flipped the two correct circuit breakers dedicated for the range off. You should be able to rotate the timer knob to the OFF position by turning it counter clockwise. If your not able to turn the clock/timer knob to OFF or if does not shut off, the clock assembly would have to be replaced.
