Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

To access the clock/oven control assembly, the control panel mounting screws will need to be taken out. The end caps do no need to be removed. Look at the bottom right and bottom lower corners of the control panel and you will see a screw near each bottom corner. Remove these two screws. On the back of the control panel at the top will be 2-3 more screws to remove. Once the screws have been removed, grasp the rear top of the control panel and lift it up slightly in order to clear the blackguard body and pivot the top of the control panel toward the front and let it drop slightly and it should lay face down on the top of the range. NOTE: Disconnect the range from the power source before removing the control panel.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

Why is the oven not working on my Kenmore gas range?

A:

On something like this we need to check for 120volts coming out of the EOC, electronic oven control. If you have 120volts coming out of the EOC going to the oven igniters then I recommend checking the wiring harness & if ok replacing the igniters. If you do not have 120volts then I recommend replacing the EOC.
