Thank you for your question. The error codes mean:

F2- oven over heated,

F3- oven temperature sensor is open or shorted,

F4- the oven temperature sensor is open or shorted.

All 3 of these codes can be caused by a defective oven temperature sensor, a defective wire harness to the sensor, or a defective oven control.

The resistance of the oven temperature sensor from the back of the control will need to be checked. If the sensor reads 1000-1200 ohms the control is bad

part number for sensor is wb21x158    The control board is no longer available. Order here www.SersPartsDirect.com

Thank you for choosing ManageMyLife.com and allowing us this opportunity to help. You stated that this product was produced in 1994. This makes it aproximately 19 years old. The average life expectancy of this type of appliance is 14 years. I would suggest that you may want to replace rather than repair a unit of this age. Other component parts may be ready to go too. This could become a little money pit. Click here to view an expert response that is the same product and they did replace the electronic oven control and still had issues. This may help you decide what to do. Click here to view what a replacement would cost at Sears.com. You may want to invest in a new unit that will be under warranty and more energy efficient.

If you have any follow-up questions, please continue our conversation on this existing thread.
