Q:

Problem with Kenmore double oven model 911 No. 48069791 model #911 No. 48069791

A:

Thank you for choosing sears I would be happy to help you with your range. Upon researching model 91148069791; that f7 code normally indicates that you have a problem with the control key panel assembly. i provided some technical information about that code in the image below. You can check the controls to determine whether that key panel is causing the code as described in that image. shut off the house circuit breakers for the oven and access that electronic clock control board. Unplug the ribbon wire connector for that key panel from the electronic control board. Reassemble the oven and power it back up. If that f7 does not return, then you will probably need to replace that control panel. If the f7 is displayed when the ribbon wire connector is unplugged then you will probably need to replace that control board. Before you order that part, you can try to clean any corrosion off of the wire connection with some contact cleaner (with the breaker shut off for the oven to disconnect electrical power). Cleaning the contacts and plugging the ribbon wire back into that control board securely will sometimes prevent the code from returning. If you try that fix and it does not work, then you may need to replace that control board. Be sure that you shut off the house circuit breakers for the oven before accessing internal components.

If the electronic control board for the oven is bad (f7 appears when the control panel ribbon cable is unplugged) then you will need to pull that part out of the console and send it off for repair. As noted above, be sure that power is disconnected from the oven before accessing internal components. You can send that control board to core centric solutions for repair, to contact core call (866) 737-2244

I trust that this information will help you, thank you have a great day.
