Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "F1" fault code means a stuck key. The upper oven key pad function will need to be tested for each key pad. I added an image below showing how to test the key pad with an Ohm meter. It will tell you which two pins to test for continuity when the specific button is pushed. The Ohm meter should only measure continuity when a key is pushed. You can test each one without pushing the key and whichever one shows continuity, that would be the stuck or shorted key.

NOTE: Disconnect the oven from the power supply before access the key panel.

What circuit breaker size is required for my Kenmore double oven & cooktop?

A:

On something like this the breaker size is determined by the information on the data plate of the appliance & the supplied voltage. If you have 240volt supply & the data plate reads 9.6 max current draw you will need a 40 amp breaker.
