Thank you for submitting your question, I can understand your concern on not having a properly working oven. The "F9" fault code is indicating the control has detected a problem with the Door Latch Motor assembly or latch motor circuit. The door lock switches should be tested and the door lock electrical circuit. The door must be closed in order for the door switch to energize. Try pushing inwards on the door and keep tension on it while starting a clean cycle. Try starting then canceling a clean cycle to clear the error code. Once the failed part is replaced or repaired the F9 will clear. If it continues to display F9, I recommend service. You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services . I hope the information is helpful, if you need further assistance, please reply below. Thank you for choosing Manage My Life.com.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The "F7" fault code implies a shorted key pad or Start key. A technician would determine if the problem is with the Key Panel or Control board by disconnecting the flat cable connecting the key pad/console to the control board and measuring cable pins using the pin out chart I added in the image below. Allow up to 1000 ohms when pressing a key.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your oven. You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
