Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Even though the microwave can be removed it cannot be replaced. The microwave controls also operate the oven. There is not a replacement available. You will need to replace the built in oven with microwave.

Thanks again Joey! One more question and then I am done. I can buy a new counter top microwave at Sears for $129. Or I can pay for the service visit, which is $129 and then pay for any repair parts. Given your knowledge of microwaves and the type of microwave I have, is it typically a simple repair that would not cost me much more money or... Should I just go get the countertop microwave and then wait until I have enough money to replace the entire unit.
