Question and Answers

Q:

Automatic shutoff 9114658815 Kenmore Free standing, electric

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you're having with the range shutting off automatically after operation. I know how frustrating that is to have happen.

Without an error code present, it will be difficult to give a precise answer, but it definitely sounds like an electronic issue. I would suspect either the electronic control board or the electronic relay board. These components would need to be tested with a meter to identify which is at fault. The electronic control board is part number WB19X255, and the relay board is WB27X425.

In situations such as this, we would recommend having a service technician assist with diagnostics and repair.

If you would feel more confident have a Sears Home Service technician help assist with the diagnosis/repair, you can call 1-800-469-4663, or click here to be directed to the page to set up service.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

Code F2 9114658815 Kenmore Free standing, electric

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
The F2 error code indicates "Oven Over Temperature".
This can be caused by a defective oven temperature probe sensor or a faulty electronic control board.
I recommend removing and disconnecting the oven temperature sensor. The oven sensor can be located inside the oven cavity on the rear wall. The oven temperature sensor should measure approximately 1100 ohms at room temperature. If the resistance checks out, you will want to replace the electronic control board, part number WB19X255. If the resistance is not there for the sensor, you may want to consider purchasing a new range, as the sensor has been discontinued due to the age of the unit with no direct substitute.
Hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

I need Instructions to Install a replacement Door Seal on a Kenmore Electric Slide In Range Model No 911.4658815. I understand the Owners Manual for this Range

A:

Replacing seals on any appliance requires instruction for most. While you wait for the expert, one thing that may help is to check the schematics at Sears Parts Direct. It provides an exploded view when you click on the image. I attached the link below. Hope this helps.

A:

I don't have any specific installation information on replacing the oven door seal gasket on that specific model. I provided the parts diagram for the door in the image below. I also provided some installation instructions that will probably work for this range. It appears that the door gasket (Key 132) fits in between the door liner (Key 111) and the lining plug (Key 112). The drawing for the parts is not very good. You will probably need to rely on your personal observation of the door and the existing liner to install the new one.

I hope that this information helps. If you are not able to install the gasket yourself, you can have it installed by a Sears Technician. Here is a link for the Sears Service website in case you need it: Sears Home Services .
