I can understand your frustration trying to replace this timer. First disconnect power to the refrigerator. To lower this control housing, pull the knobs out and then use a small screwdriver to pry the escutcheon (# 25 in picture) off. There will be a screw on each side behind the escutcheon and also remove the screws under the housing. You will then be able to lower the housing. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, additional details will be helpful. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Hello, The ice in my freezer melts a little bit, not completely, sometimes at night. When I open the freezer in the morning after this happens, I see little drips of water of under the ice maker, and usually I hear the motor turn on, and freezing begins again, refreezing the ice for the day. I thought about the thermostat, but thought I'd ask before trying that. Thoughts? Thanks in advance, Scott

Q:

error code "door" when trying to clean oven kenmore #911-455881C 911455881C Kenmore Electric range

A:

Thank you for choosing sears I would be happy to help you with yourrange. Upon researching model 911455881C; it sounds like the door lock switch may have failed. The door lock switch allows the range to detect when the door is closed/ locked, so when this switch fails the unit will not go into clean mode since the unit does not detect the door locked.  This is a repair that would normally require a technician since the door lock mechanism need to be accessed and taken apart. I have posted a link of the door lock switch, to view the link click here.

I trust this information will help you, have a great day.

Q:

oven intermintent 911455881C Kenmore Electric range

A:

Thanks for contacting manage my life about your oven model 911.455881C; sorry you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist you. _Always disconnect power supply before servicing the appliance and when testing live voltage be sure to wear proper safety equipment (gloves and eye protection) also be aware of sharp metals on product_Based on the description you have provided, there could be any number of causes.  Normally the display would show an error code and this code would help determine the component that may be the cause, With no code showing, I would first recommend inspecting the wiring harness connections on the main control, relay board and heat probe. Due to the age of the product these connections may need cleaning.  If this does not solve the issue there will need to be a complete inspection of the components to determine why the circuit is being interrupted.
