Question and Answers

Q:

How do I access & replace the oven control unit for my Kenmore range?

A:

Lift the top up & use a wooden dowel to support it. Remove the screws holding the support rod in place. Remove the three screws on the top of the control panel & remove the wire covers. You should now have access to the oven control. Do not remove the burner box.

Please see the images provided for details.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com. I am sorry to hear of the issue you are experiencing with the Kenomre Electric Range, I know how frustrating that is.

The F5 & F8 error codes indicate an electronic control board failure, and it will need to be replaced to solve the issue you are experiencing. The electronic control boards are susceptible to power outages and power surges, and it's recommended to set the unit up on a surge protection.

For convenience purposes, I have included a blue link below you may click on to be directed to the PartsDirect page to view and purchase the part if applicable.
