Question and Answers

Q:

range shows no lights nor will it work 91145565791 Kenmore 30

A:

Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com, and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you’re experiencing with the range not working or lighting up, I know how inconvenient it is to be without a range.

I am curious if there was any error code on the display or whether the display is not being powered either. This sounds as if the electronic control board has shorted, but without testing the board, it will be hard to say. There could be a loose or shorted wire as well. You could unplug the range for about 3-5 minutes and plug it back in to see if a manual reset will work. If not, you would need to unplug it, access the electronic control, and check for loose wire connections or melted/shorted wires. Beyond that, the board will need to be tested with a meter.

If you would feel more confident have a Sears Home Service technician help assist with the diagnosis/repair, you can call 1-800-349-5071, or click here to be directed to the page to set up service.

I hope this helps, and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when doing repair work on the range.

The only help I can get you is to show you the image of the control.   You can then see the screws on the end of the control panel that needs to be unscrewed and from there it is usually a rather easy job.   Sorry it is all I have an good luck.

If you have further questions please let me know.
Thanks for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com
