Question and Answers

Q:

Oven will not heat no control board errors no current to elements 9114554591 Kenmore 30

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your range. Upon researching model 9114554591; you can unplug the range power cord and remove the heating element and the oven temperature probe when the oven is not hot. With the parts removed you can test the parts for continuity using a multi meter, if any of the two parts test reads no continuity then that part may need to be replaced. If both of the parts test reads continuity then you may need to replace the electronic control board.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Q:

Why is my Kenmore range displaying F2 & F3 error codes?

A:

The F2 & F3 error codes both mention the temp sensor. The temp sensor is mounted inside the oven cavity & regulates the oven set temperature. If the temp sensor fails the oven could overheat. This is what generates the error codes. I recommend having the temp sensor checked with an ohm meter, at room temperature the sensor should ohm out at approx 1100 ohms. If you decide to replace the range I recommend going to www.sears.com to find the right size range for your needs.

Q:

f3 code on kenmore range/oven (electric)

A:

Thank you for your question.  I am sorry for the problem with your Kenmore 911.4554591 Electric Range, especially at this time of year.   The F3 indicates a open sensor circuit.  The sensor probe is located in the top of the oven.  It can be removed from the oven and check with a meter for resistance.  At room temp it should have approximagely 1100 ohms of resistance.  the sensor can  be obtained from the following link: Oven Sensor.  I hope this helps.  You can reply below with any additional details for further assistance.
