Q:

Blinking door lock light 9114552192 Kenmore Drop-in range, electric

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more then happy to assist you. Even though the oven door lock is physically open, the electronic oven control board is detecting that it is still locked. The control board detects the position of the door lock through the switch. If this switch is stuck or broken, it could be causing your problem. Push the off/cancel button and see if the lock motor runs. Disconnect power from the range for 1-2 seconds and see if that helps. If the control won't respond, then you may need to replace the door lock assembly or the electronic oven control. If you are able to access the door lock mechanism, you can check the switch for continuity. If you measure a closed condition (near zero resistance), then the door latch assembly will need to be replaced. This should fix this problem. If the door latch assembly tests good, then you will likely need to replace the electronic oven control board. Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The model number you provided is not a valid or complete model number.

The "F2" fault can indicate the oven control senses an oven temp above 590 degrees F. This could be cause by a high resistance connection in the oven temperature sensor circuit. The oven temperature sensor should be disconnected and measured for proper resistance. The oven temperature sensor probe is located inside the oven cavity in the upper left or upper rear corner.

If the sensor measures approximately 1100 Ohms; then it likely has a faulty Electronic Range Control (ERC).

I added a link below that will also provide additional information.

How do I check and replace the sensor on my Kenmore range model 9114552191 that displays the F2 and F3 codes?

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post along with a valid model number.
