Difficulty of replacing control panel on wall oven
I can understand your frustration over the trouble your are experiencing while trying to replace the control panel on your oven. While you are waiting for your expert answer, I did some research on the unit. At this time, I was unable to locate information that would be helpful in regards to your question. Some of these questions that are asked will need specific research and will be answered by an expert with-in two business days but usually sooner.
Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.
The "F1" fault code can imply a stuck or shorted key pad or it can imply a relay is turned on on the control board.
A service technician would diagnose if the failure is with the Key Panel or Oven Control by:
- Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
- Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from the control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs.
- If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.
- If code does not recur problem is with the Key Panel.

When it comes to substituted parts for the Kenmore range, things look different but work the same when you get assistance from an expert. The link provided below is on a similar question. Hope this helps while waiting for additional information. If you decide on service, that link is also provided.
There are 2 different versions of Kenmore ovens that begin with model 911.41165 . . . according to the technical information that I see. The model 911.41165690 uses that control board WB27T10292 that you referenced in your details. The model 911.41165791 uses the control board part WB27K5301. It can also use a substitute control board that is part number WB27T10228 (or WB27T10228R is the refurbished version of that control board). According to your details, it is likely that you have the wrong control board for your model of range. If you have the model 911.41165791 then you will need to use control board WB27K5301 or WB27T10228 (as noted above, the refurbished part WB27T10228R will also work). I posted the wiring schematic and a drawing of the original control board in the images below. This information may help you resolve that problem in your oven. If you need more assistance, reply with additional details and the full model number of your oven.
If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician replace the control board in that oven, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

I don't have instructions for wiring that new control board part WB27T10228R. I do have the wiring diagram and wiring schematic for that range. Those documents are provided in the first 2 images. The third image shows the original control board that was installed in that oven. That information may be useful in wiring that new control if you have instructions that came with that new control board. To help you further, we will need more information. If you received an instruction sheet with that control board, reply with a document number for that instruction sheet if possible. We could also help you more effectively if you sent us a digital picture of the new control board so that we can see the E4, E5, E6, E7 and E8 connectors. Reply with additional information and we will try to assist you further.
This may be a difficult control to install on your own since it is a revised part. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician install that control board, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .
