Q:

I AM LOOKING FOR A LP KIT 91133212101 Kenmore Elite 36

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

There is not an LP kit used for this cooktop, you will just need the replace the five burner orifices to convert it to LP.

The left front will use part number WB28T10017, the left rear is WB28T10011, the center and right rear is WB28T10016, and the right front is WBT10033.

Sears does recommend having a licensed gas technician facilitate the conversion process. Usually your local LP provider will make these conversions free of charge.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Thanks for the inquiry about your cooktop model 911.33212101, I will be glad to assist you with this issue. Turn off gas supply and disconnect power to cook top before starting. _Always disconnect power supply before servicing the appliance and when testing live voltage be sure to wear proper safety equipment (gloves and eye protection) also be aware of sharp metals on product_The top must be removed to access any components. Remove the burner caps and find screws that hold the main burner manifold to the top, remove all. Remove the knobs and seals, the top should lift up. Make sure you have removed all the burner screws before lifting the top ,They could be stuck even after taking the screws out so handle accordingly as there are gas lines attached. Do not lift up if burner is stuck to top you must dislodge first. After repair, be sure to inspect for gas leaks before using. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services. This should help you, if you need additional assistance please reply with more details and I will be happy to respond.  Ron H.

Self repairs can be more complicated when cabinets and counter tops are involved and access is limited. While you wait for the expert to send the directions, if you decide you prefer to have an experienced technician tackle this repair, an option is to visit Sears Home Services and use the scheduler. Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. In order to access the spark ignition switches the glass/porcelean top will have to be removed. NOTE:Be sure the cooktop is resting on the bunrner box top mounting flange and not the glass maintop before proceeding to remove the top. Inspect the installation from below.

I added an image below with the instructions. NOTE: Disconnect the cooktop from the power source before servicing your cooktop. Removing and replacing the burner switches and harness is a simple procedure once the top has been removed. The burner switched can be removed by lifting them up off the burner stem and valve. Follow the wires and disconnect them and reverse the procedure to install the new switch assembly with harness and reverse the procedure to reinstall the top. See image below.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
