Q:

No power at all 90079654 Craftsman Edger

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you're having with the electric edger. I know how frustrating that is.

It would be hard to say where the issue is without taking it apart and testing the electrical components for voltage and continuity. I would start by testing the trigger switch for continuity. Test the lead wires to the motor for voltage. If there is voltage to the motor, it could be an issue with the motor brushes or the motor itself. However, there could be a loose or broken wire leading down to the motor. It will be hard to diagnose until it's opened up.

If you would feel more confident have a Sears Home Service technician help assist with the diagnosis/repair, you can call 1-800-469-4663, or click here to be directed to the page to set up service.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

The blade will rotate clockwise on this unit, so if you are behind it using it, the blade will be rotating downwards.
