Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

Having to locate parts on your appliance can be tough without any owner's manual in hand. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, a suggestion I have is to visit Sears Parts Direct website to speak with a Sears associate to find out what part you need. I have attached the link below. Hope this helps!

I redacted your phone number so it is not posted on the web page.

Thanks for sending the image. I found a guide on model 900.74522. I am sending the part number. The image of the guide does not look like the image you sent, but I think it will work for you.

The part number of the wire guide is 243528-00, and the price is $2.16. You can order the part at Parts Direct

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with removing the spool on the trimmer. Just in case you do not have the instructions for removing the spool, I have posted them below. Once you have the tabs pressed in pull on the cap to remove it. I have seen where debris will get into the spool and make it harder to remove. I recommend checking for anything caught in there. If you see anything, you can use a small screwdriver to clear it. Once cleared out you should be able to remove the cap.

Please let me know if you need further assistance on the trimmer.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
