Thank you for your question on the toaster oven fan making noise.

Yes it could be the fan motor failing if it is getting louder.

There are very few internal parts available for the toaster. Just the two halogen heaters and the different trays are available.

If the toaster is less than 5 years old, then you could return it for an exchange to get a new one. Take it to your local Sears store with a proof of purchase.

If it is older than 5 years then there is no repair on this product.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The top element is likely burnt out or it may have a control failure. This small appliance is not really made to service. The upper halogen heater is available but not any other electrical parts.

I recommend replacing the unit rather than attempting to diagnose and repair it.

It has a 5 year warranty. If it's less than 5 years old from the date of purchase take it back and it will be replaced.

Looking at the limited information for this model toaster oven and since you have already replaced the lower elements, it looks like the selector switch is the problem, or a broken wire or burnt wire at the selector switch. It is highly possible that the internal connections in the switch for the lower elements have failed. Some of the parts on this product and non-serviceable.

  • Due to the limited parts available on this toaster oven, and if it is past the warranty period, I would suggest replacing it with a new one.
