Q:

Service availability for 536886500. At Hackensack NJ or by pickup & delivery and copy of Manual 536886500 Craftsman Craftsman 23 in snow thrower

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
In order to find or locate the engine parts, you will need to identify the engine model number. In this case, it's a Tecumseh engine, and the model is 143.784032.
The rewind starter assembly has been discontinued, but some of the replacement parts are still available depending on what's needed.
There is also an electric starter for the engine, it prices at about $150. I have included two blue links below that you may click on to see the options for both.

Rewind Starter Parts for Engine 143.784032

Electric Starter for Model 143.784032

In regards to the Service Centers or having a Technician come to the house to perform the repair, we recommend you contact SearsHomeServices. That way you wouldn't have to worry about hauling the snow thrower due to lack of having a truck and can just have a tech come out to the home to help with the repair if needed. Some retail stores will ship the product off to be repaired. If you can pull the rewind starter, you may be able to take it to a local retail store for a satellite repair.

The closest match to a manual I found for 536.886500 is for model 536.886520. Usually models within the same model base (536.8865*) would be the same, and the general care and maintenance should apply. Hope it helps.

The part number for the oven cavity ($88.65) is DG62-00011A. It is number 22 on the Cabinet Parts Diagram. Even though, the the oven cavity is sold as a replaceable part, normally technician's will not replace the entire oven cavity.

The unit will most likely need to be replaced. Page 7 of your owner's manual specifically states "Do not use aluminum foil to line the oven bottoms, except as suggested in the manual." Due to customer neglect, it is possible this issue will not be covered under the warranty and there will be a charge for the repair. I recommend getting in contact with Samsung to see what they recommend, or go back to the store the unit was purchased from to see what they recommend.

Contact Samsung

The self clean cycle will eventually remove the foil from the oven cavity. It may take several cleaning cycles to remove all of it. The foil in the bottom of the oven does no harm except to look unsightly. It doesn't cause any health hazards, and won't contaminate the food. It will take some time, but eventually it will all go away.

I hope this helps.
