Sears has a Kenmore model with this same door and also sells the LG product. We have had not reported failures of the door or door latch.

Sears monitors parts usage on products and if the failure rate exceeds a set limit, a bulletin is issued and parts are replaced. There has not been a bulletin on the icemaker door in your refrigerator.

I think if you replace the complete door you will have good service from the refrigerator.

I also have an LG French Door fridge that is a different model (LFX25975ST, 2009) whose ice door plastic latch also broke after almost exactly two years. After doing a lot of research I finally found the part no., and called the LG customer support number. They gave me the phone no. for their main parts supplier (as of June 2013, anyway)-- 877-389-6384 which is LGE.AndrewsElectronics.com They were very helpful. I ended up having to talk to someone as their website had problems recognizing my address. Anyway, the part is called "Freezer Door Assembly" (for my particular model the part # is ADC33751125) and it was $63.66 plus $10 for UPS ground. I ordered Mon. and received Fri. Easy install, though there is a plastic piece in the bottom right corner that is kind of tricky to remove in order to access the screws to remove it. In my case, it popped off, and fortunately didn't break. However, it was easy to pop on to the new assembly after I put it in place, and is for cosmetic purposes. My "lesson learned" is that I probably was accessing the ice bin by opening the door too often. I need to get used to accessing ice via the exterior dispenser, and trust that the ice lever will shut off as it's supposed to when full. After 20+ yrs. of homeownership, this is the first time I've had an automatic icemaker, and I've heard of others' jamming. But it was nice to know that I didn't have to pay $200 to replace it if I have to.

I have the LKX23961ST refrig-freezer. The ice duct cap does not close after ice is dispenced. This causes the obvious steady loss of cold air with resultant decrease in ice and refrigerator cooling. The only thing I find is a replacement cap which has electrical connections. Is this cap operated electrically? If so what is the problem - the spring or the electrical control??

that's the whole box? $380!! it's same price I paid for the whole grill...perhaps you made a mistake?? my unit is rusted threw...kept covered and all during the whole winter and summer. I'd say this is a manufacturers defect. It's not meant to be a disposal unit! Not only disappointed but feel robbed!

Im also looking to replace the bottom panel of the Firebox...Bit the part is not listed separately. Incredibly ridiculous that I need to buy entire firebox at $380, when everything works fine,,,other than bottom panel extremely brittle and breaking into pieces. Absolutely unacceptable...More people need to bring this to light and complaint to whatever complaint boards available. This is only my second summer with this grill..Come on SEARS/Kenmore stand by your product. Will definitely be sending my complaint to BBB and any other consumer association...DISGUSTED!!!

I have had grill for only 2 years, (lovingly maintained and covered) the firebox tray is completely rotted through and in pieces. Worst craftmanship I have ever seen. I would not even complain if i could buy the part (cheap peice of tin) for $20 bucks. Now I will have to make my own from sheet metal, last time we buy kenmore!

I have the same problem. I also have only have the Grill for 2 years ((lovingly maintained and covered). Imagine my surprise this past 4 of July when i noticed that the firebox tray is completely rotted through and almost in pieces. This past 4th of July is the first time the grill has been put to use all year. Out the the 24 months that Ive own the grill I sure i have not used it over 25 times. Paint, stainless steel, aluminum frame like new - but firebox drip tray has completely deteriorated. I usually buy another gas grill brand but i decided to give Kenmore brand a try - due to the possible availability of parts for replacement. I was sort shocked when i realized that the part could not be separated from the firebox and could not purchased separately. I intend to complain to sears, the local media and to whoever will listen.

I am in the same situation. The grill is 2 years old. We could not get it to start and when we took out the burners we saw it was rotting thru the bottom. Not as bad as photos I've seen on other sites but it's heading in that direction. I called the 800 # and was told model 148.23683310 is not one of the models that they are replacing defective fireboxes. Really...? According to other websites this model number is defective like the models they are replacing. I have a call into a regional Manager (when I get a name I will post it along with their phone #) maybe this can be taken care of without attorneys(class action suit?) being involved. I can't understand how Sears can know that this is happening and will do nothing about it. I supposed when someone gets hurt they'll have to take care of it but at what expense..? Or better yet maybe the person who made the decision would like to swap grills. I'll take theirs home and they can take mine and fire it up...good luck.

Same exact problem here. Grill is under two years old, the bottom is totally rotted through. I went into the local Sears to look at the newer Kenmore grills and the updated model has a separate grease tray, under $15 for the part. But on this model you have to buy the entire box. You would think they could come up with a replacement for the grill bottom that didn't require replacing the entire box - but either way I agree with the other commenters that this is seriously defective and it's too bad Sears won't stand behind this product. Next time, Weber grills all the way. Shame on me for going cheap. No wonder Sears is going down the toilet. So much for a once-great American Company.

We bought this grill April 2013 and have the same problem. I will remember to go on this site and read comments before I buy another Kenmore grill. We are going to complain to Sears and then buy a good grill (not from Sears).

Keep blowing 30A fuse on model 917256451 mower 917256451

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help you with your lawn tractor. Upon researching model 917256451; the flywheel has a key holding it to the crankshaft. There is a special tool called a flywheel puller. You can look in our Sears’s stores or lawn tractor repair shops. Sometimes auto shops can have the one for a small engine.  The diode is key number 877 in the diagram. Click here for the diagram.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business and have a great day.
