The M, C, and P are Main, Common, and Pilot. The wire from TH goes to M, TR goes to C, and THTR goes to P.

How to replace the exhaust blower on my Sears Kenmore Gas furnace?

A:


Turn the power off to the furnace.

  • Disconnect the wires from the original blower motor.
  • Loosen the clamp on the intake coupler.
  • Loosen the clamp on the exhaust coupler.
  • Remove the hose that goes up to the pressure switch.
  • Remove the original exhaust blower.
  • Reverse these instructions to install the new exhaust blower.
