I checked for any substitutes for that part but I did not find one listed. You can check with a local service provider in your area to see if they can repair or replace that valve for you. That appears to be the only way that you will be able to fix that wall furnace.

thank you both for checking....Lyle, you confirmed my 'fear' and my guess is probably easier to replace it (appears to be installed in 1974) as most plumber/heater techs dont like the liability of rebuilding/repairing

Obviously you did not read through the email. It stated the model number of 867-736418 and then I went on and gave you the Manufacurers number of 506474. Now if this system is so old that you cannot find this model, please tell me. Here's the information again that you request. I really need your answer. Does it use filters?
