Your diagnosis of the ice maker issue sounds correct.  It looks like you will need to replace the arm, part #WR29X5129 and probably the spring, part #WR29X5130 .  I would also check the arm lever, part #WR29X5121 to make sure it is not broken.  You can view the parts diagrams and order a new arm and spring at Sears Parts Direct .  If further assistance is needed, please reply.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Thank you for your question.

I will be happy to assist you with replacing the throttle control. The throttle control fits on to the handle bar and is secured by screws. Then has a wire harness that goes down to the motor control board. Some controls have a plug so you do not need to run the harness. If yours has this type, just unplug the harness and plug the new control in. If the harness on your control does not unplug, you need to route the harness. The hardest part of replacing the throttle control is routing the wire harness. First, remove the plastic covers over the handlebars. Then follow the harness to the control. You will need to reply on your personal observation on what needs to be removed to access the harness. I wish I could give you better instructions but the manufacture does not have a repair manual for this unit.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Hello, thanks for responding. I'm not sure I quite understand the answer. I've taken the cover off on the handlebar to reveal the wires which are intermingled together. I'm including photos to, hopefully, help in figuring out how to do this. Also, on the searspartsdirect website there is not a picture of the throttle. Does it come with the wire attached? I'm pretty sure I can fix this, I just need some more help. Is there a way I can change the title of my question in case someone else is can come across this post with help. I put a space between the be and 500 and would like to take that out. Thank you, Jennifer

Jennifer,

Thank you for the images. I did some more research and found that the throttle comes with the harness. I posted an image of it below along with a link so you can order it. To replace the throttle you need to follow the wires from the throttle down to where they plug in. Then make a diagram of the order in which the wires fit into the plug. Next unplug the connector and use a needle to push the locking tab on each terminal so you can pull it through the back side of the connector. Then remove the throttle from the handlebars. I could not tell how the throttle is secured to the handlebars because the picture does not show that angle. Once it is removed slide the new throttle on and connect the wires in the reverse order. If it is not clear how to remove the throttle, you might be able to contact the manufacture for assistance. Their number is 1-888-863-BAJA (2252).
