Walking belt 831299463 Proform Proform 745cs

A:

Thank you for the inquiry and for using ManageMyLife.com.

I am presuming you haven't ordered the part as of yet or purchased it from an outside source because all Proform parts sold through Sears include installation instructions.

For convenience, I have outlined the basic instructions below to help guide you through the installation of the belt:

  1. Unplug the treadmill from the power source.
  2. Remove the motor hood on the front of the treadmill.
  3. Remove the right foot rail.
  4. Remove the rear roller adjusting bolts.
  5. Remove the front roller adjusting bolt. Make sure to count the number of turns it takes to remove the bolt. Then when you reinstall the bolt, you can get it in the same place.
  6. Remove the front roller.
  7. Remove the screws from the right side of the walking board. Then lift the walking board and slide the walking belt off the board.
  8. Reverse the instructions to reassemble the treadmill.
  9. Before installing the motor hood carefully check the operation. The drive belt might need to be adjusted.

Hopefully this helps, and once again, thanks for using ManageMyLife.com.
