Question and Answers

Q:

my treadmill only runs on highest level

A:

It is always a little frustrating when our treadmill starts acting up on us. It is hard enough staying in shape during the winter months of the year. I'm sorry to hear that you are having some issues with your Proform treadmill. I did some research at Managemylife website and found an expert answer to a similar question that may help until your expert can respond. I have attached the link below so you can check it out. This is most likely going to be a problem with the controller board in your treadmill. The controller, part number 145241, shows to be no longer in production.

What you can do is try this: Press and hold the "stop" and "speed up" button and insert the safety key. This should put the machine into calibration mode. Press the stop button to get into level 2. Now press the speed up button and the machine should speed all the way up and then come back down. If it does not do this then there is a problem with the console assembly. As with the controller, the console is no longer in production either.

If the machine does what it should in calibration then pull the safety key when the belt comes back to a stop. Then put the key back in and see if the problem is taken care of. If it has not then the controller is certainly going to be the problem.

I wish I had better news for you on this. Thank you for using Manage My Life!
