if your talking about the screws that adjust the rear roller through the end cap they are long screws with no nuts on the end. it just threads into the rear roller and will take some turning to get to the end of the screw.

when you get the belt off you will want to look at the walking board also. if there are any waves or deep scratches in it you should replace it. a worn out board will wear out a new belt rather quickly. and if the drive belt on the motor looks like it is wavy in the small ribs it will cause the walking belt to jerk under your feet and should be replaced since you already have the front roller out.

Yes, I understand it takes some turning, but when I turn the Allen Wrench the screw just keeps turning and it will not come out.

There is nothing wrong with the floor board, I just want to remove the screw from the end of the tread mill and it will not let me take it out. It just keeps spinning. We've tried holding it with a pliers and it still will not come off. How else can we handle this issue.

Thank you for your question. Is this a holding screw or the adjusting screw? If it is the adjusting screw, the end cap has to be replaced. The end cap can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct . Once you have the end cap, remove the adjusting bolt and the screws that secure it from the bottom. Once the screws are removed, you can tap the end cap off the end of the frame rail. To install the end cap just tap it back onto the frame rail and secure with the screws. Finally install the adjustment bolt and adjust the belt. If it a different screw, use the exploded parts diagram at Sears Parts Direct to identify and see how it attaches.  Depending on the location, you may have to remove the track guide, side rails or belt.  Some of the screws need access from top and bottom to remove. If you cannot get access to remove, I recommend having a technician visit to assist.  You can schedule a technician at Sears Home Services.  I further help is needed, please reply with more detail.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you're having this problem with the treadmill. The most likely problem will be with the speed control itself. Sometimes the contact will get stuck. Try spraying some contact cleaner on the controller and work the slide up and down. Do this a few times and it may free the controller. If it still won't work, the console would probably need to be replaced but unfortunately, this console is no longer available. I would recommend having a technician check this if the process listed above does not work. I'm listing a site you can access, to have a tech come out. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services. I hope this will help you.
