Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your treadmill not working. We are here to help. I suspect a wire is unplugged. To check for that unplug the treadmill. Next, remove the black motor cover. Now, check all the wires plugged into the circuit boards. I suspect one or more wires may have come unplugged. Once the unplugged wire is found and plugged in, the treadmill should work properly. However, if the problem still exists, there is a bad circuit board. The output of the power supply board and control board, needs to be check with a multimeter. The wire diagrams on this link may help, just click here . I hope this helps.

I do show that you have the correct board.

If you try to put the machine into calibration mode per the directions, does nothing at all happen?

The board that you got for this (the only ones available) are rebuilt boards. Occasionally I see problems with rebuilt boards, but it's not something that's constant. I have to wonder if there isn't something wrong with the board right out of the box though. With it not doing anything that's certainly what it looks like.

I recommend you contact PartsDirect and see if they can send you another board as the one you have now is likely dead on arrival. I do want to add to this that if the machine goes into calibration and does everything it should when calibrating but does nothing when you try to run it out of calibration that it may be the console that has failed.

Thank you for using Manage My Life!

I have replaced the controller board twice and have the same problem. The motor will not run. When you enter calibration mode the distance and time work, the LED mode works, and the incline works, but the tread motor does not work at all, whether in calibration mode or not. Yet if I plug in the old board the motor runs at full speed. To be honest, I am still doubtful that this is the right board.

You may want to check with the manufacturer to see if they can shed any light on this situation. I, too, have my doubts about the board but it's the only number I show for it. They (IconFitness) do not show a replacement board for it but they have a note stating: "If you do not see the part needed listed please contact customer service". You can contact them at 1-800-999-3756. Make sure to have the model and serial number on hand when you call as well as the original board. Also, it wouldn't hurt to be at the treadmill with the old board installed in it (machine unplugged).

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem entering calibration on the treadmill. I have looked up the console for the treadmill. I show the console to be a model ET-88. I posted a image of what the console should look like and the instructions for calibrating the console. If the console image looks like what you have, follow the instructions in the first image. If you still cannot enter diagnostics I suspect a failed button on the console.

Please let me know if you need further assistance on the treadmill.
