Question and Answers

Q:

What is the reed switch. How to repair?

A:

The reed switch is basically a sensor on the machine. There is a sensor and a magnet that work with each other to count revolutions. Generally the reed switch is less than $15, to have a technician out to diagnose and install is going to vary depending on where you live. I recommend calling 1-800-4-my-home and having a technician come out to diagnose your machine and repair. When the console isn't reading things as it should, it can be many things. Some very simple and some not.
