Q:

Raise/lower feature on Lifestyler 800 treadmill 831297172

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. Unfortunately the manufacture doesn’t provide the wiring diagram separate. The one that’s used is the one on the unit. I recommend contacting Lifestyler to see about getting another wiring diagram.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

Q:

Lifestyler Expanse 800 Treadmill console not displaying

A:

I can fully appreciate your desire to get your treadmill up and running again.  I did locate a link that will discuss a person who had a similar situation in that their display did not illuminate.   Click here to view the link.  Though this link discusses a different model number,
the mechanics are likely going to be very similar. Keep in mind that an expert will be
responding within the next two business days if not sooner and will likely offer you more information and
instruction. I hope this information will be helpful and have a nice day.

I would also suggest that you visit the website Sears Parts Direct.com.
Simply enter the model number and a parts break down list, including images of the parts, will open for you to review.
Also, within 10 seconds a box will open inviting you to chat with an associate who will be
happy to help you locate and order whatever parts you need.  Click here to view their page.  Enjoy your work outs.

The part number for the circuit board is not showing up in the database. I have checked to make sure that the battery connections are connected and I am getting the right voltage that I should be seeing with 3 AA batteries installed. I have checked all the resistors and they are the correct value for each of them. Nothing seems broken. The 4 LCD screens seem in good shape. Thoughts?

Thank you for your question. Here are a few instructions.

Step 1

Take the treadmill key out of its slot in the console and put it aside. Unplug the treadmill from the electrical outlet.

Step 2

Unscrew the three screws holding the treadmill's hood cover in place; the hood cover is at the front of the walking belt.

Step 3

Locate the pulley on the left side of the treadmill belt. There is a small magnet on the outside of the pulley that should line up with the Reed Switch, a small cylinder screwed into place on the treadmill frame. Turn the pulley so that the magnet lines up with the Reed Switch, and use a ruler to verify that the gap between Reed Switch and magnet is about 1/8-inch wide.

Step 4

Unscrew the screw holding the Reed Switch to the treadmill frame and move the switch slightly toward or away from the magnet, as necessary, to correct the gap between the two until it's about 1/8-inch wide.

On www.SearsPartsDirect.com  I did locate the board the part number used to be 137857 the substituted part number from ProForm is 137857R and it shows a cost of $ 66.96.

If you have more questions please reply to this post.
