Question and Answers

Q:

old Ergometer treadmill Model 831296480 belt slides to one side when in use. Would new belt solve problem?

A:

Treadmills are a very great appliance to have in home, So if you don't want to go work out or go for a run you can just jump on the Treadmill and exercise at home but when it starts to have problems it can really concern you. A suggestion I have while you are waiting on a response from an expert is to visit Sears Parts Direct website to order the belt for treadmill. I attached the link below. Hope this helps!

I show this model to have an adjustment bolt on the back left side. You can try to adjust out the pull the belt seems to have. If that doesnt work, then you would need to replace the belt. It is possible that the walking board is part of the problem. You would need to visually inspect it to look for uneven wear. There is no walking board in production for this model currently so if the walking board is bad, the machine will have to be replaced.

The belt is still available as part number 126254. You can order that HERE if needed.
