When nothing works, does the console at least come on and show anything? If not, then I'd say the controller is certainly shot. If the console does come on you may be able to correct the situation.

If you remove the motor hood you will see the controller board and motors. Unplug the treadmill and vacuum out the motor area if there is a bit of dust present. There should be a tech sheet under the motor hood or in the motor area. On the tech sheet you will see the calibration procedure. You want to do the procedure to speed and incline (usually step 2). After you do that then see if the machine operates as it should. If it does not then you will need to replace the controller board.
